Christmas Eve

We always read and act out the nativity on Christmas Eve. This year Brady was the director.
Grant was the narrator.
The Johansens' friends Helaman and Camilla were visiting from Chile and were able to spend Christmas with us.
The Wise Men

Ben and Brady delighted the crowd with Christmas songs played on their armpit and hand flute. Nothing like the glorious sounds of Christmas music played with body parts!

Even Helaman learned how to play Jingle Bells on his armpit. Do they do that in Chile?

Gingerbread houses

We love making gingerbread houses. Sometimes I am energetic and make homemade gingerbread, but not this year. We made them from kits, but it was still really, really fun.

Thanksgiving Day

This year we had a really nice relaxing Thanksgiving Day. Nick and Grant played football in the morning with some guys from church, and then mom and dad and the Johansen's came over for lunch. After lunch we played some games and hung out before finishing off the day at the movies to see Arthur Christmas. Not sure why, but I only took two pictures all day. One of my sister and Grant playing the Wii and one of the little kids table. I guess I was too busy having fun and cooking to take pictures.

Catching up

I've avoided blogging because I know how far behind I am. So, I'm going to blog all the current stuff I have on my camera and then I'll slowly blog all the stuff that happened from June through November that I'm missing. Oh so fun playing catch up!

Another broken bone

We've broken some bones before playing sports and such, but this one was a new one for us. Brady broke his arm during music class at school. Crazy! He fell during freeze dancing and got to spend some time in a big blue cast. All is well now as it has healed and he has moved on to playing basketball, baseball and indoor soccer all at the same time. You just can't stop that kid!

Lake Tenkiller

The best part about our Fin n Feather trip is probably the time we spend at Lake Tenkiller. Such a great time!

Brady wakeboarding
Grant getting some air

Southward family hanging out on a tube
Wild and crazy tube rides
Can't believe Grant's old enough to load and unload the jet ski

Fishing

Gramps is so patient to take 10 little kids fishing.
Anna slept through it all
This frog jumped onto Grant's pole while he was fishing
Drew's little fish
Brady's catch
Grant's fish came out covered in moss
I fished with my cute little nephew Garrett
Trying to get a good picture of 10 little kids is not that easy...here was the best I got.

Hanging out at Fin and Feather

Little Anna always had a lap to sit in
We had fun swimming at the pool with all the cousins
Brady and Mazee
Garrett
Nick was doing water acrobatics and the kids were cracking up. I love this guy! He is always fun and always hilarious.

How many aunts, uncles and cousins can you fit in the hot tub?

Grant and Brady made their largest sale of paracord bracelets while we were at Fin and Feather. The gift shop agreed to sell their bracelets. Those two are quite the entrepreneurs.
Grant made Ben a paracord belt
