My friend Allison Johnson took pictures of my kids this week. Here are some really cute ones. Allison had a lot of patience because it took forever to get Drew to smile. He prefered sticking his tongue out at her.

Spring Break
Spring Break started on Thursday, so the kids and I took a trip to Grapevine, Texas to stay in the Great Wolf Lodge. (http://www.greatwolflodge.com) Heather and her girls, Mazee and Emmy, and my mom traveled with us. We were happy that Alicia and her kids, Brent and Kaylee, decided to stay at the lodge with us even though they just live a few miles away. We had the most amazing time!
Great Wolf Lodge
Our room, as you can see from the pictures below, had a log cabin in the middle of it for the kids to sleep in. We were a little bit nervous about the adult to kid ratio...there were 4 adults, and 7 kids ages 8,6,3,3,2,1 and 5 months. But, the kids did great, and we had such a fun time. We were sad to leave! We are looking forward to going back at the beginning of May with all the dads.
A Day at the Zoo
This is Drew's new picture pose. It's the funniest smile, but he does it for almost every picture.
Drew and I went to the Tulsa Zoo on Wednesday with my friend Jodi and her kids, Owen and Miles. I should have been getting ready for our trip to Texas the next day, but I couldn't pass up a fun day at the zoo. It's been a long cold winter, and we haven't been to the zoo since last summer. Drew loved the animals, but riding the train was the highlight of the day for him. I just loved being in the sunshine and watching Drew laugh and play with his friend Owen.

Bounce U
Kaylee is visiting this week from Texas while Alicia, Ben and Brent are relaxing in Florida. Yesterday, Heather and I took Kaylee, Mazee, Emmy and Drew to the Aquarium, and today we all went to Bounce U. Grammie and Mimi even joined us at Bounce U today. The highlight of the trip was Grammie going down the huge inflatable slide.
Soccer
Pinewood Derby
Grant had his first pinewood derby with his cub scout pack this past weekend. He and Nick had so much fun designing and building his car, and the race was even more fun. He was really excited to come in 5th place and get a trophy.
There was a sibling race afterwards, so Brady got in on the action with a car he and Nick built.

Super Fan
Right now basketball and soccer are keeping us very, very busy. The two seasons overlap by a month, but Grant and Brady are having a blast playing both. We're lucky that they are close enough in age to be on the same team. I'm their soccer coach (for the past 4 seasons), and their basketball coach, too. Nick is my faithful assistant coach, and Drew is sort of our mascot. He comes to all the practices and plays along with the bigger kids.
Here's a picture of Drew (and his cousins Brent and Kaylee) watching Grant and Brady play basketball. Drew is their biggest fan!
