Black Friday

We may be a little crazy, but we started shopping at 3:30 a.m. on Black Friday. It was fun to shop with Monica and find lots of fantastic bargains.

Thanksgiving Day

We had another wonderful Thanksgiving Day at Aunt Suzie and Uncle Steve's house. It was so nice to be there with everyone and just have time to hang out and relax.

We love that Mimi was able to enjoy Thanksgiving with us. We're so blessed to have a 93 year old grandmother that's in such good health.

Grammie always has a lap full of kids!
Brady and Gramps have a special bond. Brady loves that he can always make Gramps laugh no matter what.
I just love my brother's little boy Trey. He's such a sweetheart!
Look at that adorable face. :)
Kaylee is always happy to find a lap to sit in. Bailee is great with all the kids.
Don't these 3 look like carbon copies of each other?
Grant
Note to self...don't try and take a picture of two brothers together after they've eaten lots of cookies, cakes and pumpkin pie. You'll probably end up with a picture like this...

or maybe this. Boys!

I think Tyler may be winning! Tyler is so fun with the kids!
My little Grant is growing up so fast!

Emmy and Garrett just love each other!

Beautiful ladies! Suzie's dinner was fabulous as always.

All the kids got new lego sets or paper doll sets to play with after dinner. Thanks Grammie!

I'm thankful for...

I'm thankful for so many things this year, but most of all I'm thankful for my wonderful husband and children. Happy Thanksgiving!

Turkey Bowl

Our ward has an annual Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving morning. This is the first year that Nick has taken the older boys with him to play some football. It was COLD this morning, but they were still excited to get to play. Something tells me they won't be as sore as the "old guys" after the game is over. :)

Soccer party!

Drew's cute little soccer team came over to our house for an end of the season party after their last game. What a bunch of super cute and super silly boys!

Erica has been a great coach for these kids. She's patient and fun!

Brady was glad that his friend Josh came over with his brother for the party, so they got to play a little chess.

My future Lizard Seller...

Drew's class had to draw a picture of what they wanted to be when they grow up. Most kids picked policeman, fireman, or teacher, but my unique child was the only one that came up with "Lizard Seller" for his profession. Seriously? I laughed so hard when I saw this. It's just so Drew to come up with something so far out in left field. I also laughed at the picture of lizards coming out of the person's ears and nose.
Drew does something every day to make me crack up. I really love his unique personality!

Hooray for Visitors!

The Berry family came to visit from Nebraska on Halloween weekend. I don't know why I didn't think to take any other pictures, but this is all I have from their visit. :( I also completely forgot to take pics of my kids in their Halloween costumes. What was I thinking? We may have to stage a reenactment.
We took them to PeachWave, our favorite frozen yogurt store. I seriously can't get enough of this place...it's so yummy!

Tulsa Run

On October 30th, we ran the Tulsa Run. I've always wanted to run the Tulsa Run, but I've never been available to do it. Thanks to Nick watching our three kids AND Valerie's three kids, we were able to make it work. Emily ran this race and she is less than a month away from giving birth! Amazing! This was Jasmine's first race ever, and she rocked the course! So proud of her! I miss running races with Valerie, so it was awesome that she was here from Nebraska to run this race with us. Despite the really windy cold morning, this race was the best! Hopefully I can do it again next year.

Mimi's 93rd Birthday

We celebrated Mimi's 93rd birthday by going out to lunch at Rib Crib.
Mimi LOVES sweets, and she polished off this birthday dessert!

Playing around

A couple of weeks ago Joe spent the weekend with us while his parents were out of town. Tyler and Andrew Johnston also spent a few days with us while their parents were house hunting in Arizona (so sad that they're moving!). There were a couple of days that they overlapped, and we had all 3 boys plus our 3 boys. It was a blast! Boys are so much fun!
Playing a game of football in the front yard.

Riding scooters and rip sticks
The boys were in heaven with their friends around all the time!
