Christmas Eve

We always read and act out the nativity on Christmas Eve. This year Brady was the director.
Grant was the narrator.
The Johansens' friends Helaman and Camilla were visiting from Chile and were able to spend Christmas with us.
The Wise Men

Ben and Brady delighted the crowd with Christmas songs played on their armpit and hand flute. Nothing like the glorious sounds of Christmas music played with body parts!

Even Helaman learned how to play Jingle Bells on his armpit. Do they do that in Chile?

Gingerbread houses

We love making gingerbread houses. Sometimes I am energetic and make homemade gingerbread, but not this year. We made them from kits, but it was still really, really fun.

Thanksgiving Day

This year we had a really nice relaxing Thanksgiving Day. Nick and Grant played football in the morning with some guys from church, and then mom and dad and the Johansen's came over for lunch. After lunch we played some games and hung out before finishing off the day at the movies to see Arthur Christmas. Not sure why, but I only took two pictures all day. One of my sister and Grant playing the Wii and one of the little kids table. I guess I was too busy having fun and cooking to take pictures.

Catching up

I've avoided blogging because I know how far behind I am. So, I'm going to blog all the current stuff I have on my camera and then I'll slowly blog all the stuff that happened from June through November that I'm missing. Oh so fun playing catch up!

Another broken bone

We've broken some bones before playing sports and such, but this one was a new one for us. Brady broke his arm during music class at school. Crazy! He fell during freeze dancing and got to spend some time in a big blue cast. All is well now as it has healed and he has moved on to playing basketball, baseball and indoor soccer all at the same time. You just can't stop that kid!
