Baking with my boys

One of my favorite things is cooking/baking with my cute boys. We made these rice krispie treat eggs for Easter complete with M&M's and Skittles hidden inside. It was a fun and easy project, and they were delicious.

Easter Sunday

We had a lovely Easter Sunday. We hosted our family at our house for Easter dinner. We missed the Johansens who had family in town that weekend.

Drew was showing off some of the Tron stuff that he got from the Easter Bunny.
All 3 boys with their great grandmother Mimi
We love Grammie and Gramps!

Sweet girls waiting for dinner.
Lots and lots of yummy food
It rained all day, so we had to hunt eggs inside.

First Lost Tooth

Drew lost his first tooth! Then a couple of days later he lost his second tooth! He was so excited for the tooth fairy to come that he went to bed an hour early.

Boys, boys, boys!

Lately I've just been laughing at how silly boys are. They're just so different from girls. There is NEVER a dull moment. We had taken the boys and some of their friends to a 3D movie a couple of weeks ago, and I snapped these pictures on the way home because they were just being so crazy and cracking themselves up. I'm trying to enjoy and appreciate all of their craziness because I know someday I'll miss it!

Anna

I have the cutest new niece. Anna Beth. I just love her! For some reason, I don't have any pictures of her except this one that my 4 year old niece Kaylee took at the Chick-Fil-A playland when I was babysitting them. I'm really glad I get to be an aunt to my 7 darling nieces and nephews, and I'm so thankful we all live close to each other.

Six Flags Over Texas

While we were in Texas, we also spent the day at Six Flags. It was one of the most fun days we've ever had as a family. The weather was perfect, kids were all in great moods, Drew was finally tall enough to ride all the big rides, and we just had a blast! We got there when they opened and left after they closed.

Grant signed up to karaoke at Six Flags in front of tons of people. I couldn't believe he got up there and did it. It was awesome!

Great Wolf Lodge

Since we were going to Dallas for Head for the Cure, we decided to stay in our favorite hotel, The Great Wolf Lodge. We never get tired of this place!
I asked if I could take a picture, so the boys ran and put on these toddler life jackets. Pretty soon Nick joined in. Hmmm....I wonder where they get their goofy sense of humor?

Head for the Cure

Last weekend we took a trip to Dallas to race in the Head for the Cure. My cousin Stevie was the inspiration for the race due to her inspiring battle with brain cancer. All of our family was able to make it to Texas to participate in the race. We all signed up as a team..."Team Stevie's Cousins". We were proud to represent her.

Drew almost to the finish line!
He was so excited to get a ribbon, but wanted to know why there were no water stops during the kids run. Um...maybe because it was a 50 yard dash?

My cousin Tyler and Uncle Steve. Tyler did an amazing job putting on this race. They had more than 2000 participants for the very first North Texas Head for the Cure.

Grant and Brady ran their first 5k ever this day. I was so proud of them! Grant and I ran together the entire way, but Brady wanted to run on his own.

My mom and dad walked their first 5k ever.

Soccer

Another season of soccer has come and gone. Grant and Brady always have fun playing on the same team.

Here's Grant taking a goal kick.

Grant and Brady were the captains together. Look how much bigger the kids from the other team are. Yikes! They were taller than the refs.
I hope my boys grow up and stay best friends.
