Eclipse

I've gone to see Twilight and New Moon with my good friends, so of course we couldn't pass up the opportunity to see Eclipse together. We had a yummy dinner at Pei Wei and a fun night at the movies. I'm so thankful for my friends!

Fin and Feather

We just spent a fabulous week at Fin and Feather resort on Lake Tenkiller with my parents and siblings and their families. We've traveled many different places around the world, but going to Fin and Feather with our family will always be one of my very favorite places to be. We've gone there every summer since I was just a kid, and it holds such great memories for me. It makes me happy to know my kids are making the same memories with their cousins.

Grammie bought cute lake hats and sunglasses for all the kids.

Brent, Drew and Brady and I had fun playing tennis one morning.

Gramps always takes all the kids fishing.
Mazee caught the first fish! This pink fishing pole is always the lucky pole every single year.

Brady caught one too!

I don't think Grant ever caught a fish, but he had fun trying.
Brent caught the biggest fish!
Drew took fishing pretty seriously.

We can't wait for next year!

Team Stevie Tri

We signed up for another team triathlon in June. We dedicated our races to our cousin Stevie who is battling brain cancer. We all wore "Team Stevie" shirts--even the kids who were cheering us on. Steve swam and biked and Heather ran on one team. Ben swam, Alicia biked, and I ran on the other team.

Father's Day

Our Father's Day this year was a wonderful relaxing day with family. After church all of our family came over for dinner. Nick picked the menu (and cooked it as well), and we had steak, chicken, bacon wrapped chicken and pork tenderloin. I guess meat, meat and more meat is a guy's dream come true.
We also celebrated my dad's and Brady's birthdays since their big day was the day before.
The only picture I took of Nick on Father's Day was this one of him with our three nieces. He definitely has a soft spot for these three cuties.

Brady wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake for his birthday. I can't believe he's already 9!
Brady celebrated his birthday with his friends at Laser Quest a few days earlier. His favorite birthday gift this year was a leopard gecko. He loves that little lizard!
