My dear friend Valerie is moving to Nebraska this week, and while I know that it's a good thing for their family, I'm so sad that she's leaving! She's a great friend and a fabulous running partner. We went to Los Cabos for dinner to say goodbye. I'm thinking of it not as a "goodbye", but more like a "see you when you visit really soon". (that guest room is waiting for you, Valerie)

I sure miss you! Thank you for such a wonderful farewell evening. You are such a great friend and I know that we will see each other soon...when is the next race in Wichita? :)
